My team and I value relationships with our clients and believe they allow them to express themselves freely and heal better.
The best part of us human beings is that we can use our brain complexities to our power and explore the weaknesses & strengths that make us unique. We believe in empowering and letting you experience a balanced and happy life.
1. Confidentiality and Privacy
- All information shared during therapy sessions is kept private and is not disclosed without consent.
- Limits of Confidentiality: Therapists are legally obligated to break confidentiality if there is a risk of harm to the client or others, if abuse is disclosed, or if ordered by a court.
- Data Protection: Client records are maintained securely.
2. Informed Consent
- Clients are provided with a proper explanation of the therapy process, potential risks, benefits, and alternative treatment options.
- Clients have the right to ask questions and can withdraw consent at any time, understanding that they control their therapeutic journey.
- Clients should discuss their personal goals and expectations with the therapist to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.
3. Qualifications of Therapists
- Please read about our qualifications on the About page.
- Education: We have at least a master’s degree in psychology, along with supervised therapy experience.
- Continuing Education: We engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about new research, techniques, and ethical practices.
4. Session Structure
- Duration: Typical therapy sessions last 45-90 minutes, but this can vary based on the type of therapy and therapist’s practice.
- Frequency: Initial sessions may be weekly; however, frequency can be adjusted based on client needs and progress.
- The first session usually involves an intake assessment, where the therapist gathers background information and discusses goals.
- Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. This allows the therapist to offer the time slot to other clients in need.
- Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment without prior notice will be considered a “no-show” and may be charged the full session fee.
